FEWER HANDOVERS Less trade coordination
CANTERBURY Local delivery + support
Builders + developers first

CONCRETE MADE EASY.

SmartSlab is structured around the way builders actually need jobs to run: clear scope, reliable dates, one coordinated package and fewer subcontractor handovers to chase.

For builders + developers
01

Programme certainty

We work backwards from the required slab date and coordinate the foundation stages, inspections, concrete and crew around it.

02

Clear commercial scope

Inclusions, exclusions and assumptions are set out early so there everyone is on the same page before work starts.

03

Fewer subcontractor handovers

One coordinated package reduces the number of interfaces the builder has to manage between groundworks, reinforcing and concrete.

04

Build ready handover

The objective is a completed slab handed back clean, documented and ready for the next construction stage.

One coordinated scope

FROM CUT GROUND
TO FINISHED SLAB.

Rather than splitting the foundation across multiple trades, SmartSlab coordinates the key stages as one package and plans the interfaces before they become site problems.

01

Excavation + site prep

Set-out coordination, excavation, spoil management, hardfill and compacted base preparation to suit the foundation design.

02

Boxing + pods

Foundation boxing, RibRaft or pod system preparation, penetrations and slab geometry established before steel.

03

Reinforcing

Mesh, bars, beams, starters and project-specific reinforcing installed to the structural drawings and required cover.

04

Inspections/QA

Foundation and reinforcing inspections coordinated with the relevant parties so approval does not become a last-minute hold point. Inhouse QA process documenting the entire process.

05

Concrete placement

Concrete supply, pump access, placement, vibration and construction sequencing planned around the pour.

06

Finishing + handover

Slab finishing, saw cuts where required, clean-up and practical handover back to the builder for the next trade.
